Holi Kab Hai ?? ..... Kab Hai Holi ??
lol !! no um not trying to be lady Gabbar Singh here .. its just that Holi happens to be on Monday (which is not a very good day since its the first day of the week ! ) and lots of Holi lovers dont have the patience of waiting out the entire week so some are celebrating it this weekend, some on Monday and some next week .. what a confusion ! When am I supposed to wish people "Happy Holi" haan ??
Holi is one festival where people have a lot of mixed feelings .. I know a lot of ppl who wont even let u touch them with your colored finger tip No Matter What :( fun spoilers I call them :-/
Me, on the other hand .. am CRAZY (u know I really mean it when i go all caps :D lol !! ) about Holi !! Its the bestest festival :D
So I spent this whole week counting days (sadly, have to count out another week :( ) and to make it run by faster, I did 2 things :
1. Completed 3 seasons of game of thrones and
2. Followed Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2014
Who is your fav Game of Thrones character ?? I love Arya Stark for the sheer fight in her and Jon Snow for his looks :p cant wait for the next season to start !!
Lakme Fashion Week, on the other hand, has started and was a total surprise this time ! You would know what I am talking about if you have seen Manish Malhotra show .. dull and boring (ppl seemed to love it though :-| )
But there were some interesting pieces that caught attention.. have a look :-
Similar one by the same designer and this one is better fit for evenings .. flowy and pretty !
Out of all the celebs who came to watch the shows, I liked Kangna's and loved Vidya's looks .. The whole linen look with florescent drawstrings is so relaxed and and that blush peach saree is like a refreshing summer drink !
If you closely look at the fashion trendz on and off the ramp during all these 4 days of LFW , you will know that its going be a naval baring summer this year friends .. time to hit the gym I guess :(

This Snakes and Ladder game inspired dress by designer Digvijay Singh stood out for the design. Very Different, Very Wearable !
Another one by the same designer - remember this game ? yep, Ludo it is !
One of my favorites by designer Vaishali. This dress shouts 'Summer' and me ! and would look gorgeous when accessorized with lots of colorful bangles and funky Janpath Style sandals !
