Come summer and the world is ready to jump in the sea !! like literally ... Almost all of us wanna stay in the water to beat the heat like hippos , except we dont wanna look like them !! (no way dude ! )
So ... we bathe in sunscreen before we bathe in water .. sit under an umbrella or under a humongous hat .. keep sipping ice tea and take an ultra glamorous dip in the sea :D
So here I am .. with a checklist to help you not forget anything before you pick up your beach bag and head off to the beach :)
Foremost .. a very cute beach bag to stash all your stuff in ! I just ordered mine and its on the way !! here is a pic though .. I had mentioned about it here :D
Once you have the bag .. fill it up with these :
Sunscreen !
I know I dont even have to say it .. no one in their right mind would wanna step out without a sun screen . Its no more vanity people .. its medication !! (against skin diseases ofcourse ! ) Pick a water resistant very high SPF for the beach (not the one you wear to office every day ) .
Also, try and use a non greasy sun screen for face and a regular heavy one for body ..
e.g. La Roche or Coppertone for the face and Aveeno or Kiehl's for the body .
make sure your lip balm has SPF too !
Leave in Conditioner
Our hair needs UV protection too and thankfully there are lots of products available for that . Honestly, I have not tried any yet .. but um planning to check out Redken UV rescue protection oil . And I have heard Bumble and Bumble too specializes in beach hair stuff .. worth a dekko .
Face Wipes
Why ? Ofcourse to wipe off the salt water of your face honey ! and the sweat too .. I swear by the Tea Tree cleaning wipes from The Body Shop .. its a must must have . Neutrogena oil free cleansing wipes are great too :)
Water
I know there will be a lot of water where you are headed .. but we are talking potable water people ! or green tea .. or ice tea .. anything refreshing and replenishing as the sun exposure can make you dehydrated .. a cute pink bottle will look perfect in ur bag :p
Accessories
Hat. Hair Bands. Sunnies. Towel. Sandals. Beach playlist !! (aaja on the beach ... yara photo meri kheech !! lolzzz)
Have all the above in place and you might end up looking as pretty as a beach goddess !!
