Hello Pretty ladies !!
You know whats perfect this year ?? V Day is on Friday !!! And I am sure, since its just 4 days to go for the special day, all of you must have stepped on the accelerator for your "long weekend" preparations :D
While the guys must be out planning the weekend surprise for you, you must be hitting the parlors and the malls to make your guy go week in his knees . Am I right or am i right ? ;-)
So here I am .. to help as usual . Take a look at these ideas and tips and mark the one that works for ya !!
What to wear !!
The biggest question - ALL the time !! A dress ? A saree ? Skirt ? Jeans ? Shorts ? and on and on our -minds wander .. :-|
First of all, it depends on where r u gonna b and wat r u gonna do. For e.g. if the date is in a disc, I would think many times before donning a saree .. But again , if its a surprise , you better play safe !
1. Saree
If you dont drape the six yards too often, trust me your guy will be bowled over by your Indian avataar ! Keep it light and girly in red, pink, saffron , fuchsia etc colors .. try and stick to chiffon or georgette or net semi sheer sarees with very little embellishments ..

You can either buy these online or get them custom made.
2. Dresses
Next best thing to sarees are obviously dresses !! (and you can keep them as short as u like :p ) . Pick a dress that has valentine written all over it (not literally ok !! ) :D It shud be fun and flirtatious ..
Also, make it perfect by selecting a dress that compliments your body type the most !!
e.g. if you are heavy on top , go for a one shoulder dress
if you are heavy at the bottom, a fit n flare dress will hide the problem area
and if you are straight figured , go for a frilly dress to create volume !
and if you are priyanka chopra, flaunt your curves in a bandage or bodycon dress ! :p
have a look and take your pick !
3. Makeup !
Its the most romantic day in the whole year !! of course you have to doll up girl ! But curb your excitement right before tripping over to disaster :-| I know you might wanna go all dark smokey eyes and bright red lips and pink shining cheeks , but then u might look... umm.. not so good to put it politely :p
I would suggest enhance your eyes as the guy will, hopefully, spend a lot of time looking into them :D hahaha :D
Go for bold smokey eye makeup with lots of mascara .. just a hint of blush and lots of highlighter .. just a faint stain on lips with lots of shiny gloss.. and a scintillating perfume and u r all set !!

4. Nails !
Most important ladies .. get a manicure.! There is going to be a lot of hand holding (and who knows, even a ring !! ) . You cant be caught unprepared ever .. its an important day and important things might happen :D
All of the above mentioned stuff can be done for any other important occasion too frankly, so do something with your nails thats exclusive for V day ..
Here is what I suggest-- I have the pink and silver one on right now and it looks uhmaazing !!! And I find myself doing a lot of "haww" these days, you know, making a small O with my mouth and covering it with my pink and silver nailed fingers ;)
5. Hair :D
No suggestions really ... all I wanna say is - keep it clean and bouncy !!
