No its not my wedding date and ya I know that you know its today's date, but what you don't know is that its the best weather ever, here today ! and yes, good weather is very very important to me ! Almost like a good coffee or a good cheese cake .. or a good blog to start your day !
When I had a full time job and I was supposed to start my day at 9 and finish it off at 9 or 10 or 11 or 12 or even 1 at night (yeah, I have had a very tough life friends :( ) , even then I managed to make time to read my favorite blogs .. a good blog , the one that makes you feel connected - can be an addiction I tell you. If there was a day when nothing new was posted, I could feel that empty spot the whole day till the next day !
I came across many blogs, but 2 of them stuck. One for its huge content and the other because it made me feel a part of it. The latter was - http://www.peachesandblush.com/
The first blog (not giving out the name here , and I dunno why um doing that ! ) is very nice, very informative but its so commercialized that it feel impersonal .. but P&B (as its fondly called !) is very personal .. you would feel like you almost know Mehak Shahani .. I felt like she was just like any other girl who had a corporate day job like me and yet took out time to pursue her hobbies .. Who had bad hair days or got those occasional pimples .. who wears Mango, Zara like me and doesnt always carry an LV bag !
Here is she ! (no she doesnt go to work like this .. this is her wedding lehenga !! )
Honestly, sometimes I skip the guest posts on her blog but I have never been able to skip her posts .. she is one of the reasons that um a blogger today .. another reason is a friend , Sharadha (Yo babes !) and one good reason is also 'the guy ' who never stopped pushing me to do what I love the most !
When you like an ice cream flavor , how wonderful it is when the vendor adds another scoop at the same price !! Thats exactly how I feel now that P&B has added another wedding site and blog !
